AGMPM in collaboration with the Grant Thornton company organized on Thursday, December 19, 2024 an online training seminar (webinar) on the subject of the European Directive 2022/2464 (CSRD) regarding the submission of sustainability reports. The European directive a few days ago was passed as a law of the Greek state N. 5164/2024.
In the introductory section Ms. Athina Moustakis (GT partner head of ESGRC services) presented the activities of the Grant Thornton company in the international as well as the Greek market and set the timetable for the implementation of the legislation for businesses with milestones in the years 2025, 2026 and especially in 2027 for SMEs!
In the second part of the event, the officers of the Environmental, Social, Governance, Risk Management & Compliance (ESGRC) department of Grant Thornton Dr. B. Augustidis and Ms. K. Galanopoulou presented the basic requirements of the directive, which makes it mandatory for companies to submit and check their annual Sustainable Development Reports, the content these reports should have, the reference standards, the report completion guide and the criteria for the companies to be included in the mandatory implementation, as determined according to with regulation 2023/2772.
