Plastic package research has qualitative and quantitative data of the period 2009-2015, while all the financial analysis is based on data from the last three years, 2013-2015. The sample of the research is compiled by the 77 largest companies in the sector. The figures include annual turnover, profitability ratios (C & L), capital and market analysis, profitability analysis, capital leverage etc.

In 2015 has been recorded a 5.3% increase in turnover, accompanied by a boost in the share of the largest companies in the industry. In July 2015, the production process of several companies slowed down due to capital controls, which has as a result the failure of making timely payments to the suppliers. Companies which are trading abroad faced limited problems.

In 2015 has been recorded a marginal increase in turnover of 1.4%, accompanied by a fall in index earnings. The fluctuation in the price of pulp which was imported by our country, with the capital controls had as a result the increase of the production cost of existing plants.
