On Monday, June 19, AGMPM in collaboration with professors Dr. Ioannidis (Director of the building and industrial energy systems laboratory of the School of Engineering of the University of Western Attica) and Dr. K. Psomopoulos (Director of the high voltage and energy systems laboratory of the School of Electrical Engineering of the University of Western Attica) held an educational webinar on the subject of good energy saving practices in industry.
After analyzing the main energy indicators for industrial processes and highlighting the limits of each system, the presenters cited good practices and successful examples of energy saving in the fields of lighting, electrification, photovoltaics, solar thermal and finally thermal insulation.
In the presentations, emphasis was also placed on the knowledge of each process/processes carried out in each work center, the determination of the energy cost per produced unit, but also on the preparation of a techno-economic study for the accurate calculation of the amortization of the investment aimed at reducing electricity consumption.
The presentations as well as the recording of the event are available for AGMPM members and partners at info@pac.gr.
