The scientific documentation is the main target of AGMPM not limited to writing and posting articles. In 15 years of our life have been three National Competitions called "Greek Packaging Stars", several Seminars and Workshops, as well as a highly successful National Conference.
The scientific Association AGMPM in collaboration with Mr. S. Bamvakas (Vice President of HMS / Hellenic maintenance society), organized on Thursday, May 19, the 2nd Training Seminar on lean production, this time focusing on the 5 S toolbox: sort, set in order, Shine, standardize, sustain.
On March 24, the international environmental consultancy Eunomia Research & Consulting,with Bristol, offices in Athens, Brussels and America and AGMPM organized the first webinar on the upcoming taxation of plastic packaging in the United Kingdom (UK Plastic Packaging Tax)
The second Webinar on the Product Environmental Footprint Tools (PEF) was successfully implemented in March 3, 2022, where the case of a plastic polypropylene (PP) cup for dairy products packaging was presented.

The Association of the Greek Manufacturers of Packaging and Materials (AGMPM) and international environmental consultancy Eunomia Research & Consulting are calling for the Greek Government to implement a non-profit deposit return scheme (DRS) to give Greece the best chance of reaching new recycling targets in the EU Single Use Plastic (SUP) and Packaging and Packaging Waste Directives.
