The Association of Greece Chemists, fulfilling its purpose, which is to promote chemistry science in industry, technology, education, research and control, as well as its exploitation of the country's self reliance on economic, social and cultural development, co - organized on 25 and 26 November 2017 a two-day conference on "INNOVATION AND BUSINESS IN CHEMICAL INDUSTRY IN THE 21ST CENTURY - Problems and Prospects" with the active contribution of the following Scientific Departments of Food, Drugs and Pharma-chemistry and Colourings – Varnishes-Inks:

3. Association of Greek Food Industries

4. Department of Chemistry (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens).

5. Department of Chemistry (University of Ioannina)

7. Department of Nutrition and Dietetics (Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki)

8. Department of Food Technology (Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki)

The Conference was held with great success at the MEC Exhibition Center in Paiania with the participation of thirty one (31) excellent (outstanding) speakers with academic, industrial or businesses background and more than 200 participants.
