On Sunday 19th of February, the conference entitled " The new era in Packaging" took place at the MEC Mediterranean Exhibition Centre in Paiania, Athens.

The conference was organized by A.G.M.P.M. (SYVIPYS) and Helgramed (Panhellenic Union of graphic design technology graduates).
120 conveners gathered at the event, representing the areas of graphic design, the academic and research community and the Greek packaging materials industry. During the conference, Greek and international guest speakers presented the new cutting edge technologies in the field of package printing, notably, the innovations in the peripheral prinrting machine systems (rotogravure cylinders, flexo plates, print cylinders), the colour managing systems and also the printing inks and varnishes. All of the aforementioned material from the presentations is at the disposal of the two associations.
